FALL PROGRAMS

(OCTOBER - DECEMBER)

SHE THRIVES (NEW!)

SHE THRIVES is LiveGirl’s new pilot high school program designed to help girls thrive—both in school and in life. Over 8 weeks, participants build confidence, resilience, and leadership skills in small, supportive groups led by a SHE THRIVES Coach.

Through reflective conversations, community-building, and practical tools, SHE THRIVES creates a safe, brave, and inclusive space where girls can explore who they are, where they’re going, and how to support one another along the way.

LEADERSHIP SUMMITS

Our leadership summits bring together high school girls from across Fairfield County for a variety of empowering learning experiences that encourage girls to explore their potential and believe in themselves. All summits feature a keynote speaker, mentoring, & fun team-building activities.

SCHOOL-YEAR PROGRAMS

ADVOCACY COUNCIL

Our LiveGirl Advocacy Council (LAC) is a truly amazing group of diverse high school girls from across Connecticut who are passionate about female empowerment and gender equality. The goal of the Leadership Council is to work on student-led change. We are counting on YOU, not only to set the direction of LiveGirl's high school programming but to also make change in your community with LiveGirl's support.  This program is offered virtually.

Monthly Meetings on 1st Wednesday of the Month @ 7:30pm

SHE CARES

SHE CARES provides free-of-charge one-on-one mentoring with professional mentors where girls can speak freely and express her feelings about the pandemic, missed connections, friend stress, school pressure, and any other confidence issues.

Our SHE CARES mentors are thoroughly vetted and trained. Although our mentors have mental health expertise, these are not counseling sessions. However, our mentors will refer other mental health resources as necessary.

GOT TALENT?

LiveGirl would love to leverage your creative talents on our platform!  We need bloggers, photographers, and graphic designers for our girl-powered community. Email selena@goLiveGirl.org with your interests and availability.

LiveGirl has taught me that I am a one of a kind individual with a unique set of skills and talents; I am me! I shouldn’t be afraid to show myself to anyone, because the only person who has any say or opinion in what I do, is me. People can think or say whatever they want, but I know that I am beautiful, amazing, talented, and unique, and nothing people say can take that away from me!

Being a LiveGirl Mentor has taught me how important it is for young girls to have positive role models in their lives. Middle School is a challenging time for a lot of these girls, and I’ve personally seen the difference it’s made for these girls to have mentors in a safe environment like LiveGirl. They need these outlets and the positivity it brings them! Positivity is contagious!
