The $50,000 Victoria Cerami Gumption Scholarship
Are you the next Gumption Scholar?
We’re awarding $50,000 to a graduating high school senior identifying as female or non-binary, who embodies gumption: courage, boldness, and an unyielding drive to see possibilities where others see obstacles. If you’re pursuing an engineering degree, this could be your chance to join an extraordinary legacy.
This scholarship will be distributed over four years and combines financial support with executive coaching and leadership development to set the scholar up for long-term academic and professional success. The scholarship winner will also join the cohort of Gumption Scholars.
Application deadline is April 6, 2026. Scholar to be announced May 15, 2026 at LiveGirl SHE IS RISING at HMTX in Norwalk, CT.

Now, her remarkable journey serves as the inspiration for the Victoria Cerami Gumption Scholarship, empowering the next generation of courageous thinkers and doers.
Requirements
Identify as female or non-binary.
Submit a completed Gumption Scholarship application.
Be matriculating to college in fall 2026, with a planned major in Engineering.
Have participated in ACE for at least one year. (preferred)
Applicants will submit a video (3 minutes or less) showcasing your story:
Share what sets you apart and demonstrates your gumption.
Highlight a moment where your courage or boldness helped you overcome a challenge or challenge the status quo.
Explain what becoming a Gumption Scholar means to you.
No need for fancy edits—raw, real stories captured on your phone (held horizontally) are perfect!
