We provide free-of-charge leadership development, mentorship, and career readiness to girls/young women ages 10-24, centering those who have been historically marginalized. About The Role:
As Chief Operating Officer, you'll drive LiveGirl's mission of building confident female leaders while managing core operations and strategic growth. Working directly with our CEO/Founder, you'll shape our organization's future through innovative programming and operational excellence. Specific responsibilities include:
Operations & Leadership
Lead daily operations while fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture that builds team morale
Recruit, develop, and retain diverse talent across staff, volunteers, and mentors
Present strategic updates to Board of Directors and serve as organizational spokesperson
Financial & Development
Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to ensure organizational sustainability
Manage organizational budget, financial reporting, and audit processes
Build donor relationships and secure major gifts
Ensure compliance and governance for all contract management and funding sources
Strategic Growth
Drive program innovation aligned with mission of building an equal, inclusive future
Use an evidence-based approach to innovate programs, using Hubspot to drive program growth and retention
Develop partnerships with community organizations and stakeholders
Ideal Candidate Profile:

Demonstrated ability to build organizational culture and team dynamics
Track record of developing inclusive environments that value diverse perspectives
Strong mentorship and coaching capabilities

Strategic mindset for scaling nonprofit impact

Proven ability to build sustainable funding streams
Ready Leader
At least 8 years of operational experience in a fast-paced environment
Executive presence and stakeholder management experience
Financial acumen and resource optimization skills
Vision for advancing women's leadership initiatives
How We Operate:
Headquartered in Westport, Connecticut, we operate on a hybrid basis, with one day in the Westport office. The role reports to the CEO. In a supportive and flexible working environment, the full-time salary range is $110,000 - $140,000 plus benefits, including health, paid time off, professional development, and holidays.

Confidence Coach Position
LiveGirl is looking for professionals to join our team as a Confidence Coach for our next program cycle dates (Feb 10 - early April)!
*Connecticut residents only.
Pay it forward and mentor the next generation of fierce, female leaders. We are looking for HIGH ENERGY leaders to facilitate an after-school mentoring group with middle school girls for eight weeks. As a LiveGirl mentor, you will be trained on our evidence-based curriculum. This is your opportunity to champion women and girls and help close the female leadership gap.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Attending a mandatory professional development training
Facilitating an 8-week Confidence Club with middle school girls, weekly 75 minute sessions
Providing weekly updates to Program Director and our Professional Leadership Network
What is Confidence Club?
Confidence Club is an 8-week curriculum-based mentoring program that creates a safe space for girls to develop self-esteem and social-emotional intelligence, the essential building blocks of a confident leader. The small group (8-15 girls) meets weekly with a trained facilitator to share concerns and interests, thus providing an opportunity to connect with other girls and talk in a safe environment without judgment.
STIPEND PROVIDED.
