Camp LiveGirl helps girls build confidence, explore leadership, and form lasting friendships through hands-on activities and teamwork. This active and supportive environment encourages creativity, collaboration, and positive self discovery.

$25 non-refundable deposit is due for all full scholarship recipients for each week enrolled. (1 week = $25, 2 weeks = $50, 3 weeks = $75)

Scholarship Application Instructions:
Partial Scholarship: Email a statement of financial need to camp@golivegirl.org.
Full Scholarship: Send proof that your child receives free or reduced lunch through government assistance such as Husky insurance, public housing, and/or food stamps to camp@golivegirl.org.

Camp LiveGirl 2025 Transportation Schedule
We are offering free daily bus transportation to and from camp each week.
Morning pickup is around 7:45 AM.
Afternoon drop-off is around 3:55 PM.
Week 1: July 6–10 (Norwalk + Stamford)
Route:
1st Pickup: The Carver Foundation (7 Academy St, Norwalk, CT 06850)
2nd Pickup: Stamford Boys & Girls Club (347 Stillwater Ave, Stamford, CT)
Drop-Off: St. Luke’s School (377 N Wilton Rd, New Canaan, CT)
Return trip follows the same route in reverse.
Week 2: July 14–17 (Bridgeport + Norwalk + Stamford)

Week One | Bold & Creative
designLab
Express Your Style: Campers will explore personal style and self-expression by designing a unique outfit and accessories that reflect their individuality. In our designLab, they will experiment with materials, colors, and creative techniques to bring their vision to life.
Theme: Personal Expression & Creativity
Creative Project: Original Outfit + Accessories
Campers will design wearable pieces such as accessories, headwear, jewelry, or statement fashion items using mixed materials.
They will style their final look for a runway showcase that celebrates individuality and creativity.
Week Two | Signature Identity
designLab
Discover Your Essence: Campers will explore how scents and personal branding can tell a story about who they are. In our perfume studio, they will experiment with fragrance notes and essential oils to create a signature scent. They will also design packaging and labels, learning how design and presentation can reflect personality.
Theme: Identity, Storytelling & Expression
Creative Project: Signature Scent + Branded Design
Campers will craft their signature scent and cultivate a design that aligns with their personal branding
Week Three | Wellness & Self-Care
designLab
Care From the Inside Out: Campers will learn that self-care is about wellness and confidence. They will explore skincare basics while creating nourishing bath and beauty products that support both body and mind. Activities include discussions about choice, self-expression, and wellness routines as a form of self-respect.
Theme: Wellness, Confidence & Exploration
Creative Project: DIY SkinCare Collection
Campers will create handmade bath-bombs, sugar scrubs, and lip conditioners that are sure to quench our skin and condition the soul

Now more than ever, the need for girl empowerment and preparing the next generation of female leaders is clear and urgent.
Research has shown that girls-only settings promote a greater “can do” attitude, a greater impact on young women’s social self-confidence, a more effective environment for personal development, and a more supportive environment to pursue STEM and leadership opportunities.

Camp Instructors
Maria Ogundolani
Overall camp instruction provided by Program Director, Maria Ogundolani. Maria Ogundolani serves as the Program Director for Middle School and High School Programs at LiveGirl, where she leads initiatives to equip young women with confidence, leadership skills, and a sense of community. Maria's role encompasses developing impactful curriculums, overseeing mentorship programs, and creating inclusive spaces where students can explore their potential and prepare for their futures.
With a background in youth programming and project management, Maria brings extensive experience in mentoring and equipping young people to navigate their unique journeys. At New Vision International Ministries, she directed youth programs that empowered middle and high school students to embrace their individuality and build leadership skills. She also led innovative after school programs in Bridgeport, CT in creative media.
Maria’s passion for creativity and community shines in her work outside the classroom as well. She developed a robust social media strategy for her organization, building a team from the ground up and establishing systems to amplify their mission through engaging digital content. Her expertise in content creation and strategic planning is matched by her ability to inspire and lead others.
Kim Gerardi
Kim serves at St. Luke's as the Middle School designLab Educator. She has an MFA in Design Technology from SUNY Purchase with a focus in Scenic Design. In addition to many years designing for the stage, Gerardi has served as art director for independent film and music video, industrial design (at Wide World of Sports), installations and red carpet events for film festivals (including Tribeca and Hamptons Intl.), print production for Ann Taylor and as scenic artist for Hartford Stage, The Barrow Group, and The Atlantic Theatre Companies. She spent the last six school years at Wooster School in Danbury, where she began as a part-time Technical Director and later helped develop the makerspace.
