ABOUT TRACY

I am a graduate of University of Connecticut, where I earned my Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science in 2015. Since graduating, I started my career in health and fitness  and transitioned to Human Resources. During this time I developed an interest in real estate and this led me to buy my first investment property at the age of 23. This purchase then strengthened my interest and promoted me to expand my ventures within real estate from buying, to selling, to also managing property full time.

Real estate was my first taste of financial independence. The more knowledgeable I became concerning financial literacy, the more I started to realized there was an evident knowledge gap between the community I grew up in and currently the one I reside in. During my reign as Miss Bridgeport USA, I decided to use my platform to provide awareness to this disparity and promote generational wealth and financial independence for all; especially focusing on our youth and teaching this information prior to adulthood.

Lastly, my motivation can be traced back to watching my mother struggle to give me a life of better opportunities here in America; especially as immigrants from Guyana South America, with nothing to lose and everything to gain. Due to my success, I’ve come to realize that great responsibility has been bestowed upon me to educate others on achieving their own success and financial wealth. In all my efforts, I only hope to be the representation our women need to break even more barriers!

The "Listen, Learn, Act” conversation series has been thoughtfully designed to engage youth and their parents in racial justice advocacy. In order to achieve racial justice, we must learn, unlearn and listen to, then amplify, the voices of color and experience.
