High School Mentors
Stand out in crowd with unique, service leadership experience as a LiveGirl high school mentor! High school mentors provide a unique “just been there” mentoring perspective to our middle school program participants. As a high school mentor, you would play a key role in leading leadership and team building activities at LiveGirl events and share your perspective on issues such as self-esteem, anxiety, stress, peer pressure, and social media wellness to “pay it forward” and help middle school girls navigate adolescent stress.
-(If NEW to organization) Must be recommended by teacher or youth organization.
-Must complete mandatory leadership training (2 hours).
-Must commit to attending at least four (out of eight) leadership summits per school year.
High School Fellowship Program
We are now accepting applications for rising seniors to serve at LiveGirl fellows during the 2019-20 school year.
The LiveGirl Fellowship Program is designed to provide service leadership experience for extraordinary high school seniors who have demonstrated leadership potential and initiative while involved in LiveGirl throughout their high school years. Fellowship assignments include research, advocacy, and creative design responsibilities in support of LiveGirl’s leadership and girl empowerment programs. Executive mentors will encourage their ambition, empower their confidence, and prepare them for future leadership positions. This service leadership experience provides an extraordinary college resume credential.
Once you submit an application, you will be contacted for an interview.
Interviews will take place mid-May and Fellows will be announced in early June.
