SHE WORKS 2020 Internship Info Meeting:

SHE WORKSTM is an innovative, high school senior/college leadership program. This program will level the playing field and provide internship equality and help close the female leadership gap.

Internships help create the foundation for one’s career and have been proven to increase a student's chance of getting a job upon graduation, but yet who you know still matters most. 91% of surveyed students indicated that personal connections were the most important factor in landing an internship and women of color have the lowest rate of participating in an internship.

SHE WORKS TM will provide the education, tools, and resources that young women need to thrive.

INTRODUCING: "Listen, Learn, Act"
In order to achieve racial justice, we must learn, unlearn and listen to, then amplify, the voices of color and experience. We must stand together, help each other, love one another and, most importantly, take action.
