At LiveGirl, our mission is to equip the next generation of young women with career readiness, confidence, and equitable opportunities. Through the SHE WORKS program, we build bridges between talented, career-ready members and forward-thinking employers.

With our new SHE WORKS Connects portal, employers can now partner with us in two flexible ways:

  • Career Hub – Post private internship opportunities on our exclusive job board and gain direct access to a pre-vetted pool of SHE WORKS Members ready to launch their careers.

  • Internship Matching – Receive personal connections to motivated interns tailored to your workplace needs.

Our goal is to foster a strong talent pipeline that advances excellence, equity, and workplace success for all. Throughout the year, we work closely with our students to develop career readiness, professional purpose, and the social capital they need to thrive.

In order for us to recommend candidates, we prefer:

• A completed employer profile, with an upfront intent to hire at least one intern

• This commitment enables us to provide vetted, qualified candidates

• Our program is offered at no cost to employer partners

Our comprehensive approach includes:

• Candidate vetting in partnership with Daversa Partners (global search firm)

• Pre-internship career readiness training

• Mentor matching during internship

• Ongoing support throughout the program

***When we refer candidates to employer partners, those we don't place with your organization are matched with other committed employers in our network. Operating without a formal hiring commitment would create an unsustainable process that could leave qualified students without placements while we wait for potential opportunities.*** This structured approach ensures we can fulfill our promise to our students and employer partners while maintaining the integrity of our program.

All but one employer indicated that their She Works intern met/exceeded expectations and will return to the program.

All SHE WORKS interns will be assigned a coach/mentor (to provide day-to-day support) and a project champion (to provide project deliverables and ultimate project ownership).
