Camp LiveGirl Scholarship Application
FULL SCHOLARSHIPS ARE STILL AVAILABLE. Our financial needs-based scholarships will be distributed on a first come, first served basis to applicants who qualify for the Free or Reduced School Lunch Program. (Documentation must be provided and can be scanned/emailed to info@goLiveGirl.com or mailed with deposit check to 59 Grove Street, Ste 1D, New Canaan CT 06840.)
To qualify for a partial scholarship (lowering cost to $195), please submit a Statement of Financial Need.
Camp LiveGirl scholarships include transportation, lunch, t-shirt, and backpack. All scholarship recipients (full and partial) are required to submit a $50 nonrefundable deposit and write an essay (at least 350 words). Please choose one of the following questions and write a thoughtful essay below.
1. Many great leaders are determined and committed to their causes. Write about something that you feel passionately about—and then explain how you could lead others to also care about your cause and have a positive impact on the world.
2. Write about a female role model (historical or current) who is a great leader. What makes her a great leader and how does she inspire you?
3. How does positivity play a role in leadership? Think of a female leader that you admire and write about how she has responded with positivity in tough situations.
