How LiveGirl Helped Me Grow:

I've been engaged with the SHE WORKS Program at LiveGirl since the summer of 2021. As a first-generation female college student, I lacked the resources and guidance necessary to secure summer internships. Through the SHE WORKS Program, I gained invaluable skills to support my professional development. I was paired with exceptional mentors who served as my sounding boards, offering advice and guidance essential to my career advancement.

I have learned many lessons from LiveGirl, including standing up for what I believe in, never giving up on my dreams, and being a voice for the voiceless. I learned to embrace my unapologetic self, enabling me to accept others for who they are and inspire them to pursue their dreams.

LiveGirl changed my life the moment they accepted me into the SHE WORKS program. Without LiveGirl, I wouldn't be where I am today. SHE WORKS helped prepare me for the workforce by providing professional development training and connecting me with a valuable mentor, allowing me to succeed in my position.
