“I believe that a passion and something that comes naturally to you is a universal clue into what your purpose is. There’s a reason why that interest is there - you should absolutely pursue it because I think it’s coming from an authentic place.” - @BrennynLark
With Broadway dark until at least September 6 due to COVID19, we’re honored to feature a Broadway star for some hope and inspiration.
Brennyn Lark is a singer, songwriter and actress. She went from playing Eponine in Les Miserables on Broadway just a few years ago to the starring role in Dreamgirls in London, and most recently she took her talents to the small screen in Amazon’s award-winning The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. She has been described as a star on the rise.
Listen as Brennyn talks about the lifestyle of a Broadway performer and what actors are doing now that Broadway is “dark”. She also shares what her first Broadway show was, who inspired her to pursue her dreams, and the importance of moving through fear and doubt and practicing self-care. AND *SPOILER ALERT* she sings a song from one of her favorite shows!
